Good to know about PDF to Word
This works on PDFs that contain real text, like ones exported from Word or a website. Paragraphs come through cleanly, but columns, tables and images aren't rebuilt. If the PDF is a scan, convert it to PNG first and then use Image to Text.
Everything happens in your browser: your files aren't uploaded, stored or seen by anyone, and there's nothing to install.
Questions
Will my formatting be kept?
The text and paragraphs will. Fonts, colours, tables and images won't, because PDFs don't store that structure in a way that can be rebuilt reliably.
Is it safe to convert PDF files here?
Yes. Your PDF files are converted inside your own browser and are never uploaded to a server, so nobody else can see them. It works just as well for private or work documents.
Can I convert several PDF files at once?
Yes. Add as many as you like, then press Convert. When they're done you can download them one by one, or all together as a single .zip.
Is it really free?
Yes, with no sign-up, watermarks or daily limits. The site is paid for by ads, which you can turn off in Cookie settings.
